The Faith Endowment Scholarships for Academic Excellence

Each year since its inception in 2004, FAITH celebrates the academic achievements of young leaders within the Greek and Hellenic American community by awarding merit-based scholarships to some of the community’s most promising graduating high school seniors from across the country. Recipients of the FAITH Scholarship for Academic Excellence join a network of more than 600 existing FAITH Scholars who display the exceptional scholarly intellect lauded by our Hellenic ancestors and also, a magnificent spirit of charity, community service and good citizenship which is at the very core of our Orthodox Christian values.

Applicants must be graduating a public, private, or parochial high school in the United States and embarking to study in an undergraduate degree program in the fall of 2025 at a 4-year accredited U.S. college or university. Metropolis of Boston Scholarships

Scholarships Available to Greek Orthodox Students Across U.S. and Canada

The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Boston is pleased to offer 2025-2026 academic year scholarship opportunities for U.S. and Canadian students who are of Greek descent or of the Greek Orthodox Faith and entering their second, third, or fourth year of undergraduate studies.  The annual scholarships are provided by endowments generously gifted by the Charles C. Condes Trust of Illinois (four, one-time scholarships of $8.000 each) and the St. George's Hellenic Benefit Society of Tsamantas of Worcester MA (two, one-time scholarships of $7,500 each).

 

Philoptochos Scholarships

All scholarship application items can be submitted to the email address elpisscholarship@gmail.com or they can be turned in to the Church office. This includes the application filled out by the applicant, all recommendation letters, transcripts, and documents.
