The members of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church of Memphis, Tennessee welcome you to our new site. Here you will find information on our organizations, upcoming events, and most importantly on the Greek Orthodox faith.

The website is intended as an information portal both for the outside community as well as for our members. Please look around, we look forward to your suggestions and feedback.

The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church of Memphis is associated with the Greek Orthodox Church of America which is under the leadership of His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios.

The Archdiocese is composed of eight Metropolises: New Jersey, Chicago, Atlanta, Detroit, San Francisco, Pittsburgh, Boston and Denver. Our Memphis community is under the jurisdiction of the Metropolis of Detroit which is directly under the Omophorion (spiritual authority) of His Eminence Metropolitan Nicholas.

The Archdiocese of America is part of the world-wide Orthodox Church (250 million members) whose center is in present day Istanbul (previously Constantinople-the New Rome) whose founder was St. Andrew the 1st called Apostle and whose current Patriarch, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew is the 270th successor.
